\par \f1 Mrs. Opelia Wallace, 89, of 404 Cave Spring Road died Tuesday afternoon at a Rome health-care center. \par A native of Polk County, Mrs. Wallace was born Oct. 22, 1903, daughter of the late Theodore Edward Erwin and Elizabeth Bridges Erwin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Wallace, June 14, 1976. She had been a dietician at Darlington School and was a member of the South Broad United Methodist Church. \par Survivors include: a daugher Margaret Gains, Cedarftown; a brother, E. T. Erwin, Rome; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. \par Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Daniel's Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Jones officiating. \par Interment will be at East View Cemetery.\f0
