\f1 Paris Henley Hyde, 62 Rome Rte. 6, died Sunday morning at his residence following a short illness. \par
A native of Rome, Mr. Hyde was born April 19, 1914, son of the late James Franklin and Mary Molly Dillard Hyde. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist and prior to his retirement was associated with Lockheed Aircraft Co. A brother, Vance S. Hyde, died in 1968. \par
Survivors include his widow, the former Bessie Burgess, to whom he was married Dec. 21, 1940; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin M. Hunt II, Decatur, Mrs. William C. Pinson, Rome; three brothers, Quinn Hyde, Marvin Hyde and Fred Hyde, all of Rome; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Penson, the Wax Community, Mrs. Willard Agan, Aragon; two grandsons. \par
Funeral services were to be held today in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Willis and Clinton Carver officiating. \par
Interment was to follow in East View Cemetery. \par
Pallbearers included Wilburn Agan, J. W. Penson, Hershall Hyde, Jimmy Hyde, Charles Hyde, and Robbie Hyde. The Deacons of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will serve as honorary escort. \par
Daniel's Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.\f0
