\par \cf1\f1 Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, for Smiley C. Wallace, Jr. the fiver-and-a-half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Smiley C. Wallace, from their residence near Darlington school. \par The Rev. Sanders, pastor of the South Broad Methodist church, conducted the services and interment was made in the cemetery at Bush Arbor. \par The death of the little boy, which occurred Tuesday night at 8:30 o'clock, brought sorrow to scores of friends of the family here. \par He had been in ill health for some time. Surviving the child are his parents, and two sisters, Virginia Wallace and Edith Wallace.\cf0\f0
