Mr. Youngblood
Turner Youngblood, 66, 612 East 19th St. died Friday night after a sudden attack Mr. Youngblood was born in Floyd County Jan. 28, 1915, son of the late
Samuel Lon and Julie Clay Youngblood. Prior to his retirement, he was associated with the Rome Post Office for 31 years. He was a member of the Second Avenue
Baptist Church and the Men's Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his widow, the former Mildred Johnston, to whom he was married April 7, 1939; two sons, Edward Youngblood, Tallahassee, Fla., Tommy
Youngblood, Riverdale; two sisters, Mrs. Weyman Wallace, Dade City, Fla.; Mrs. William Roberson, Rome, nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Talley Brothers Chapel with Dr. Haywood Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Connesena Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tom Ellis, Bobby Dan Patrick, Barry Duke, Larry Davis, Jimmy Day, Ronnie Youngblood, Steve Rush and Dennis Rush.
