CASEY TIMELINE by Donna Parrish

It appears that two (2) Casey brothers
Robert and Isaac
came into Georgia from South Carolina between 1826 and 1831.

1834 cenus - NO Casey

In 1839 in Forsyth County there were 3 Casey marriages
Casey Barnabas Hutchens Harriet R. 02 Jan 1839
Casey Washington Casey Patsy 11 Nov 1839 (2 Casey)

(Ideas:Some of our Hutchins were around Fairplay SC in 1819,
so this might be a starting point.) In 1840 there were 3 Casey families in Forsyth County. All were enumerated on the same page #283.
From the other names on the page I would say they were
located in the Northeast Part of the County - what is now
the chestatee Area. At that time period to the North
would have been Lumpkin County. To the East across the river
would have been Hall County. 1840 Census CASEY Isaac 1010101000000 0202201000000 1 male 40-50 1 female 40-50 1 male 20-30 2 females 20-30 1 male 10-15 2 females 15-20 1 male under 5 2 females 5-10 CASEY Robert 0102000100000 0000000100000 1 male 50-60 1 female 50-60 2 males 15-20 1 male 5-10 CASEY Washington 0000100000000 0000100000000 1 male 20-30 1 female 20-30 This would be Washington and Patsy - probably cousins,
