Robert P. Verner was b:Oct.20,1793 in Pendleton,SC he married Susan Caroline Moss ( b: 1799 SC)

They had these children:

  1. Elizabeth 1820 SC m: James W. Wright Mar.9,1837 Franklin Co.
  2. Martha 1826 SC m: Samuel H. Slayden Nov.28,1847 Franklin Co.
  3. George Edwin Aug.11,1831 SC m: Anna Sue Guest Aug.10,1851 Franklin Co.
  4. Mary I.E. 1833 SC
  5. Samuel C. 1835 SC
  6. Julia A. 1836 Franklin Co.GA
  7. Francis 1840 Franklin Co.GA
  8. James Jasper Jan.25,1843 Franklin Co.GA

Robert and his family moved to Franklin Co. GA in late 1835. He died there in 1876 and his wife died there in 1871.Robert was a member of the United Methodist Church in the old "Kesler Campground" prospect in Franklin Co.GA.
