Donaldson Bros. Vault - The Donaldson
vault or mausoleum is a massive square structure of granite bloks
surmounted by a steeply gabled slate roof. A solid iron entrance
door does not permit visibility within. The mausoleum faces south.
A marble tablet over the doorway is inscribed. Donalson Bros.
With a Masonic Emblem on it and the date 1893 -

cahort in which capacity he served a number of years.
He married Anne Gunter March 22, 1842. Licensed to preach 1856,
Fasted every Friday for over 40 years. He died in the full triumph
of the Gospel faith.

S. Pruitt will officiate Interment in churchyard. The following
gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and meet at the residence
on Moore's Mill road at 12:15; Mr.Ivon Rolader, Mr. J. H. Rary,
Mr. Bartow Densmore, Mr. H. N. Bentley, Mr. J. M. McGhee and
Mr. George Spruill. The members of Sardis Bible Class will serve
as honorary escort. J. Allen Couch & Son.
