GRADY COUNTY NEWSPAPERS

EXTRA... EXTRA... READ ALL ABOUT IT.............

To truly conduct genealogical research, one must learn about the area in which their ancestors lived and also the way of life in a particular time period. I hope that the Georgia Maps page helps in learning about the area and I hope this page gives some insight as to the way of life in the beginning of Grady County. The following are excerpts from Grady County newspapers. I have tried to include articles that not only give a feel for the time period but also include the names of many of the families who lived in Grady County.

This is an experimental page and I would very much like your input. Please let me know if you enjoyed this page and would like for it to continue. Kimberly Ryan Gandy
