Notes from Claudia: I know there are two Brumbalow Cemeteries on Berkeley Lake road, one of them have headstones but the other one does not, the graves are only marked with rocks. They are listed as Isaac Brumbalow /Brumbelow one and Isaac Brumbalow/Brumbelow two with the Gwinnett Historical Society. Mt. Carmel Methodist Church is located two and one half miles north of Norcross on Peachtree Road. It was organized in 1826. This is the old part of the Cemetery, near the Church, I think they have changed the name of the Cemetery now. I started Logging the Cemetery years ago, and have not been able to finish, but thought this my help some one. I started at the front of the Cemetery, nearest to the Church, it is hard to put the graves in rows and they are so close some has walls around them and others don't there is a lot of unmarked graves. The ones that I know I have added to this list, and marked them as Unmarked. Have added the relationship on the ones that I know. They are added in ( ). This is only about a 1/2 of the old cemetery, there is a new cemetery on the other side of the fence at the back of the cemetery. I would love to hear from anyone that is working on the Brumbalow/Brumbelow; Howell; Barnett; Rowe; or Jackson Families. Claudia Brumbalow titanium@alltel.net.
