State versus B. Tull - Habeaus
Corpus - The prisoner having been brought b4 us and there appearing
to be a cause for his detention is ordered to jail.
...On motion of Counsel for Penticost, George shows that he had
been injured by the neglection of duty of William McClain (constable
in Gwinnett county) - ordered the bond of William be delivered
by the Clerk to Elisha W. Chester, Attorney of the said George
to be sued on.....
Ordered that Wm. Nesbit, Sheriff received out of the County funds
$31.621/2 for arresting and supporting sundry prisoners, .......
Bagley (Henry and Wiley); Poland, James; Mathews, W'm; Humphreys,
Benjamin.
Ordered that the report of Smith, Robert, Wood Thomas & Medlock,
Isham layed off a road from Gates Ferry in direction to the Rock
Bridge as far as the district line of Capt. Baker's Dist. be
accepted.
