I'm looking for the location of a cemetary. The obit (dated 7/22/1910) indicates that the funeral was held at Mt. Carmel. There is a Baptist, Methodist and African-American cemetery named Mt. Carmel in Henry Co. My great-grandmother, who is white, (Mrs. J.E."Ona or Onie" Jackson) lived in the McMullens district. She died giving birth to her 3rd child and was buried with the child. (Sex and name unknowed) I searched Mt. Carmel Cemetary in Ola only to recently discovered that it is an African-American cemetary. Any clues where Mt. Carmel is located? Was that district of Henry Co. re-drawn and now is Newton or Butts Co.? Any suggestions you might give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
