"In the name of God Amen
I James Appelby of the County of Jackson & State of Georgia being of Sound mind & disposing memory & knowing that life is uncertain & that is appointed unto all men once to die do Make this my last Will & testament in the words & figures? following
Item 1st It is my will & desire that after my death my body be buried in a christian like manner
Item 2nd After the payment of all my just debts I desire that all my Estate both Real and personal be sold & distributed by my Executors amonge my children & grand children as hereafter directed Except the bonds or Stock which I hold in the Georgia Rail Road & Banking company
Item 3rd It is my will & I hereby direct that my Executor retain in their hands Said Rail Road bonds during the natural life of my beloved wife Jane Appelby & that they collect & pay over to her annually the Interest or dividends accruing on said bonds or so much thereof as She may Require for her maintenance & comfort so long as She Shall continue in life and at her death to be disposed of as hereinafter directed.
Item 4th I give & bequeath to my daughter Evaline Scott one Sixth part of all my Estate which I may be in possession of at my death
Item 5th I give to each of my grand children that is to say to the children of my deceased daughter Carsandria Cheatham to the Children of my dcsd son James M. Appleby to the Children of my dcsd Sons William D. Appleby to the Children of my son John Appleby and to the Children of my son Hugh C. Appleby an equal Share of all my Estate Real personal or Mixed after deducting the Said Share of my daughter Evaline Scott or to each of my said grandchildren as be living at my death & if dead to their children if any
Item 6th It is my desire that all advancements made by me to my Several Children be taken into account in the final distribution of my said Estate
Item the 7th I hereby appoint my sons John Appelby & Hugh C. Appleby my Executors to Cary out this Will and that they do so without being required to give bond

Peeples, and the same Sum of money and household property to the children of my deceased daughter Sarah J.
Peeples, which is not to be considered or counted as any part of the Six Hundred Dollars legacy aforesaid.
Item 5th I expect to give to my Son Dilmus P. Camp as compensation for his care and attention to me some household property which is not to be counted against him or considered as a legacy. I have heretofore given to my son David A. Camp & the said Dilmus P. Camp what I then & now believe to be an equal share of my Estate.
Item 6th All the remainder of my estate after paying the aforesaid legacy, my funeral expenses, expenses of administration &c. I wish equally divided between each of my children now living and the heirs bodily of those who are or may be deceased.
Item 7th I hereby nominate and appoint my sons David A. Camp and Dilmus P. Camp Executors of this my last will and testament.

My will & desire is that my funeral expenses & just debts Should be paid out of the Residue of my personal estate after which I give and bequeath the Remainder of my negroes & other personal property to be equally divided among my Eight children Before mentioned deducting from the Share of those to whom I may have given any negro or other property the value of said property so as to make their share equal the shares of my three said daughters being subject to the limitations & trust hereinafter declared
Item 4th. my will and desire is that my five sons before mentioned shall have and hold any Right title & Interest devised to them under this devise to each of them and their heirs absolutely in fee simple but that every Right & title & interest devised to my three daughters before mentioned under any part or clause of this my will shall be Vested in my Two Sons Early Madison Chandler and Cicero Holt Chandler as Trustees to take care of manage & deal out the Same for the sole & separate use & maintenance of my Said daughters during their natural lives and at their Several deaths my will & desire is that the above Trust shall cease and the Share of each one of my daughters under any clause of this devise shall go to & be equally divide among her children & grand children if any whose father or mother is dead the said grand children taking only as Representatives of their decd parents

4th Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Alsey L. one negro girl Harriet about thirteen years old one horse and carriage subject to her control during her natural lifetime only then to revert back to my Estate with the increase of the girl if any
5th Item To Wiley Gobers living children I give nothing more than I have Expended on their father & them years past
6th Item The balance of my property not otherwise disposed of I direct my Executors to sell at Public Out cry and be Equally divided among my Children

bequeath and devise to my wife Lucy F. Goss the following property to wit One
note we hold on her father B. F. Okelly calling for Seven hundred Dollars dated
3rd Sept 1885 Also Seven hundred Dollars out of my Estate and her bed and bed
sted and bed clothing the red chest the trunk The above bequest is made to my
said wife in lieu of her whole dower in my entire Estate and all her claim is
relinquished by this bequest. Item 4 I give and bequeath to my son Isham H. Goss
my library of Books also my watch and chain and all of the Bottles great and
small with contents with Shot Gun
Item 5 I give bequeath and devise that three feather beds not with clothing Sted
to I.H. Goss not with equipage to Ella Hudson and no 3 with equipage to my
Daughter A.D.Webb bed Clothing thus to be divided with the three above named
Children
Item 6 I give bequeath and devise to my Daughter Ella the large cubboard and
large Dining table and one ? Chest Portralo? gallery & mechanics tools
Item 7 I give bequeath and devise unto my daughter A.D. Webb the Beaureau
Item 8 I give bequeath and devise unto my grand daughter Minnie Burns my sewing
machine with all attachments
Item 9 I will and devise that all the remainder of my entire Estate Lands and
personal property be sold at the discretion of my executor either by private or
public Sale as he may deem best And the proceeds of Land with ready money notes
and accounts be divided with my living children And also the Children of my
daughter M.A. Vaughn decd They to receive the share of their Mother having
already given to their Mother Five hundred Dollars as my memorandum Book will
show what each Child has received, And this amount they are to receive to be
invested in land for the use of said minor Children My Executor controling it
for them Also having deeded in trust to D.M. Burns to the minor heirs of Emma C.
Burns decd a certain tract of land at ten Dollars per acre D.M. Burns their
trustee will receive their proportionate part And invest for them in land or
improvements for their benefit making them equal with their Mothers share with
the living Children above alluded to to be finally!

Item 10 I Appoint W.J. Goss as trustee of his daughters Ludie (or Lodie) and
Grace Goss to receive the remainder of the proportionate share above what he has
received his note and memorandum book will show what he has already had. This
amount to be invested by him in land or Stock for his and their benefit only And
at his death the amount to be equally divided between the two minor heirs
Item 11 I will that my daughter Mary W. Bostwick invest the portion she receives
in land or improvements for her and her childrens benefit and at her death to be
equally divided amongst her Children Item 12 I hereby constitute and appoint my
Son Isham H. Goss Executor of this my last will and testament this the 13th Day
of November 1885

I William Nunn of said state & county being of advanced age, but of sound disposing mind memory knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right & proper both as respect my family and my self that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me with. Whereas on the 25th of January 1855 convey to Hugh M. Hodge in trust for my daughter Salina Hodge one Negro woman named Harriett and her two children Margary and Amanda for and during her natural life, and them to her children & on failure of children them to be disposed of by my will I therefore will & direct that in the event of the death of my said daughter Salina Hodge in that issue or children then it is my will and devise that said Negro woman Harriett & her two children Margury and Armanda & their increase shall go to & be vested in heirs at Law to be equally divided between them. Item 15th. I give & bequeath to my daughter Mary H. Holiday, the sum of seven hundred dollars in cash forever in fee simple.
Item 16th It is my will and desire that my grand son Appling H. Pendergrass & John F. Coleman shall take care of & support my old servant Tony, during his life, and I hereby make his support a charge on their lands, devised in the 6th Item of this will.
Item 17th. It is my will and desire that my Executors shall divide the sum of one hundred dollars amongst my Negros as follows to wit: To Tilman Fifteen dollars, Jenny fifteen to Sampson fifteen dollars, to Mary fifteen dollars, to Jane fifteen dollars, to Marion fifteen dollars, to Hester & Tony five dollars.
Item 18th. It is my will and desire that all the ballance of my property not herein-before specifically divided boath real and personal shall be sold by my Executors hereafter named, on such terms as they shall think best and I hereby Authorise said Executors to sell the whole or any part of said property at private sale, if in their opinion Executors it shall be for the Interest of my estate or conducive to the contentment and happiness of my slaves. Item 19th It is my will and desire that the balance of the money arising from the sale of the property specified in the 18th Item of this will shall, after paying off the monied legacies as aforesaid be equally divided amongst all the Legatees named & specified in this will, except my son Levi Pendergrass and Daughter Mary H. Holiday (and except also the Negros' Legatees) who are to have no share in the residue of said fund as aforesaid.
Item 20th. In conclusion of the whole, I think I have in my judgement done the best I could have done, and if any of my Legatees become dissatisfied and commence any legal proceedings to set asid this will then I disinherit such Legatees, and give the legacy of such one to the others of my Legatees.
Item 21st. I hereby nominate and appoint my friends N.H. Pendergrass & P.F. Hinton my Executors to carry out & execute this will.

Shall return to my estate and be equally divided among my then surviving children.
Item 5th It is my desire that after my death and burial there shall be placed at and around my grave a decent and suitable Box of Marble covered with a Marble Slab containing appropriate inscription in dates &c and that the graves of my son John W. Randolph and Joshua W. Randolph be finished off with a similar Marble fixture and that the graves of my infant children be marked as my family may think proper.
Item 6th I further will that in regard to the sale of the balance of my estate as set forth in the third Item of this will, my children may if agreeable among themselves and consistent with thes circumstances divide such part of my property as can be divided without sale.

I Daniel? Wheeler of the county of Jackson & State of Georgia being of sound and disposing mind and memory & being anxious to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength as to do, do make & publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me at anytime heretofore made And my worldly estate I dispose of as follows first I want all my just debts paid the remainder of my Estate to be held together untill the youngest child becomes of age then sold and Equally divided with my children
I do hereby appoint Wiley R. Garrison as my Executor In Witness whereof I the said Daniel Wheeler to this my will have set my hand and seal this 14 day of April 1864

In the name of God Amen I Andrew Willson of Said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must Shortly depart from this world, deem it Right and proper both as respects myself and those with whom I have to do that I Shoul make a disposition of the property with which A Kind providence has blessed me I therfore make this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all other made by me
Item first - I desire and direct that my body be buried in A decent and Christian like manner that is to Say in the Same Stile of that of my Son James L.
Willson, now buried near my residence Also the Grave of my wife Elizabeth F. Willson to be finished in the Same Stile if not done in my life time
Item 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors hereinafter named as I am unwilling my creditors Should be delayed of their Right Especially as there is no necessity for delay.
Item 3rd I give and devise to my Nephew John G.? Bird? provided the said John should Remain with those hereinafter named and be as one of the family Also the Children that is now in being and those that may hereafter be of my Nephew Joseph P. Bird and my niece wife of said Joseph P. namely Sarah Ann Bird All of my personal property of whatsoever description that I may die possessed of

I Ancil B. Wilson of said State & County being of advanced age and knowing that I must Shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respects my family and myself That I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.
Item 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and christian like manner suitable to my circumstances & condition in life my soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it.
Item 2nd It is my will that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible after my death.
Item 3rd It is my desire that after my death my beloved wife Caroline Wislon shall have the place on which I now reside containing One hundred & twenty two acres be the same more or less which is to be valued by three disinterested persons and for her to give the valuation if she feels so disposed after deducting two hundred dollars which she has already paid if not disposed to give said valuation the land to be sold and two hundred dollars of the proceeds of the same to be paid to my wife Caroline Wilson.
Item 4th It is my desire that the ballance of my property both real & Personal Except what household & Kitchen furniture that has not been divided be sold and Equally divided between my two daughters and the children of my daughter Polly Ann Catlett until they are made Equal with my wife after which my wife daughters and grand children to share Equally in the ballance of my Estate
Item 5th I hereby nominate & appoint my beloved wife Caroline Wilson and my two daughters Sally Thornton & Martha Catlett as my Executors to carry out this my last Will and testament

Item 1st It is my wish that at my death that my body be decently buried and that my lawful debts be paid
Item 2nd I will that Vina Sailers my sister, wife of Absolum Sailers have two hundred Dollars also that Elizabeth Tolbert have one hundred Dollars also Virginia Anthony shall have one hundred Dollars also to Delany Farabee Rosey D. & Lorra Farabee the wife & two Daughters of
W.C. Farabee that they shall receive one hundred dollars each from my Estate
