WILLIAM ALLEN
RICHARD LEDBETTER

I found this article in a book in the Denison, Texas library genealogy Dept.

"Revolutionary Soldiers of Georgia" page 161

All three were Rev. Soldiers who moved to Lumpkin, Georgia and died there. William Allen was bried at the end of the porch of the Old Methodist Church; also Isaac Watts, and Richard Ledbetter.

In 1929, a new church building was to be erected. The bodies of these three friends were removed and re-interred in the Mount Hope Cemetery side by side as they were in the Old Methodist Church yard.
