John H. Bond and Cynthia McEwen

John H. Bond was the son of John Rousey Bond and Millie Smith.   He was born 14 June 1840 and died 11 Apr 1918 in Madison County.  He married first to Margaret Powers on 12 Dec 1867 in Elbert County, GA.  He married 2nd to Cynthia McEwen on 7 Aug 1873 in Madison County.  Cynthia was the daughter of James McEwen and Mary Strickland.  She was born 27 Oct 1847 and died 26 Jun 1939 in Madison County.  John and Cynthia are buried at Jones Chapel Methodist Church in Madison County.
