These three graves are directly in front
of Juan and Sarah Self. |
 |
UNIDENTIFIED 4 - This
headstone seems to have been
covered with years of erosion, only to be revealed again
by erosion. It is directly in front of the unidentified
graves
above, about five feet from the cedar tree shown. |
 |
UNIDENTIFIED 5
This grave is along the edge of the graveyard
up the hill from the Bryant famly plot. |
ABANDONED GRAVES 1 - 7
These are old graves that were marked only with stones and have been reclaimed by nature.
The photographs are to lead those interested in examining the area closer to their
locations. The headstone to the lower left is the stone described in Unidentified grave 4.
There is evidence of a path into the woods. Abandoned graves can be seen to the right up
the hill, straight ahead and to the left. For those interested in hunting, plotting or
researching these graves, you should enter the stand of trees with all due caution!!! You
should be very careful about where and how you step. It would always be best to have a
search compainon with you in areas such as these. |
