- Looking for Thomas Richards who married Mary Lee Tait in Sept. of 1818. Who were his
parents? Where did he live? He departed Madison Co. and was in Campbell/Douglas/Carroll
Co. by 1830. But need his past history. Any help appreciated.

- G. H. Allen b 6/1817, married Manerva H. SIMS b 8/17/1826, had 6 children born in
Madison County, One being my Great Grandfather, Henry Issac Allen, b.10/01/1851.Henry
Issac Allen moved to DeSoto Parish Lousiana.Problem is I have no census records and would
very much like to know what initials G. H. translate to. Allen being a common name so I
can proceed further back and determine parents of G. H. Allen. Any assistance would be
appreciated.

- Looking for any information on ALEXANDER GORDON. Born unknown. Died in Oglethorpe
County, Georgia. He married Susanah ? and had the following child: Francis Roy GORDON,
daughter (married HAWKINS BULLOCK). Is this the Alexander Gordon who was a Revolutionary
War veteran? I have a copy of his will dated May 4, 1816 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.
Does anyone know who his father was? Were there other children for Alexander Gordon? Eager

- Looking for any information on Martha GRESHAM b. about 1802 in Oglethorpe County,
Georgia and d. Nobember 20, 1853 in Walton County, Georgia. She married Allen W. BROWN on
January 19, 1820 in Oglethorpe County Georgia. Allen W. BROWN was born in Virginia around
1796 and died December 4, 1869 in Walton County, Georgia. Their son, Benjamin Blanton
Brown was my g-g-grandfather. I'm trying to find a paper trail to link them all together.
Martha GRESHAM was the daughter of Robert GRESHAM and Polly MANLEY of Oglethorpe County,
Georgia. Robert GRESHAM was the son of John GRESHAM, Sr., Revolutionary Soldier who died
in Walton County. Hope someone out there can share information on these lines. Thanks.

- I am looking for information for PENCE, a "Well-to-do Penn. Deutsch farmer who
moved from PA to GA a few years before 1812. His name may have been Jacob PENCE? He had a
daughter named Elizabeth PENCE who was born 1791. In 1811, she married a man by the name
of FREEMAN, who was said to be of English descent, and a local Methodist Preacher and
farmer. They had one son, Jacob FREEMAN, born Feb 2, 1812. Jacob's father went off to the
war of 1812, and never returned. Elizabeth PENCE FREEMAN married Wilie BOLING on Jan 16,
1816 in Madison Co./GA-Miss. Territory. They had one son, Napoleon Boling in 1817 in GA.
The whole family moved up to Ashley, Jefferson, IL area. Any help would be much
appreciated!!!!!!

in Madison Co Ga 5/ 22/ 1823. Susanna's father was Robert Williams. On record, March 13
1850 W. B. Morriss on behalf of his wife is discharging all claims on the estate of his
father- in- law, Robert Williams. If anyone has information on William B Morris who with
his family was in Jasper Co Ga in 1850 or on Susanna Williams Morris's father Robert

- Thomas Luther ROBERTS was born April 1869 and died June 22, 1906 in Madison Co. He was
married to Sidney Royston Roberts who was born 11/21/1860 and died 12/12/1919. His
father's name was Mobley ROBERTS and Mobley was married to Jane (no maiden name or dates).
Has anyone seen any information re Mobley ROBERTS or Thomas Luther ROBERTS?

a daughter, Mary, who married William CLEGHORN. He was the administrator of the estate of
William EDWARDS in the late 1820's in Madison Co. Isaac VINCENT served as the
administrator of the estate of George REED of Madison Co.
