BEATENBOUGH, FORTSON posted by John Carson on Sunday, March 7, 1999

My maternal grandparents Paul and Clara (BEATENBOUGH) FORTSON owned and worked a small farm outside of Danielsvile. They were members of Bluestone Baptist Church. They have both been deceased for a number of years. My mother has shown me a picture of relatives who fought in the Civil War, so I know her people were in the area for a long time. Does anyone have any information about the Fortsons or the Beatenboughs (I am not sure of the spelling)? Thank you for any help you may provide.
