Madison Co. GA. in 1803. I am Mary Ann Mannery Ditmore's (their daughter) great great

- Seeking information on Pleasant Hemphill who married Lucinda Stephens in 1831. No. of
childrren 13. Lucinda is reported to be a sister to Matilda Stephes who married Thomas
Hemphill and William who married Elizabeth Hemphill. Also, reported Pleasant was a 1/2
broher to Thomas and Elizabeth. Any help appreciated in unravaling this family problem.

Madison County, GA Caroline Bone. She died before 1859. Who were her parents? Where is she
buried? Andrew Benjamin ('Andy') was the son of Abner and Lavinia (Wilson) Sailors.

- Seeking any information on Pleasant Hemphill who married Lucinda Stephens in June 1831.
Lucinda reported to be the sister to Matilda and William Stephens. Matilda married Thomas
Hemphill and William married Elizabeth Hemphill. Need to know if Pleasant Hemphill was

were married in June 1831 and had 13 children. Need to know name of parents of both. Also,

- Looking for information on a Gabriel W. Grimes b. 1800 GA, Washington Grimes b.1812,
mar. Elizabeth Evans, William Grimes b.1800- 1810 . They all lived and did business in
Madison Co GA. Were on several legal documents, one was for the gdnshp of a William Strong
son of Samuel Strong. A Davis Evans and Rolly Hopper were also on documents with Gabriel
many times. Gabriel witnessed the will of Thomas Miner Grimes in Madison Co Ga. I've been
told they are just cousins and not brothers. Gabriel and a William Grimes were living in
Oglethorpe Co Goosepond Dist in 1840 next door to one another and this William is possibly
the one that moved on to Elbert Co.by 1850 married to "A" initial for wife,
could be Olivia Bell . Any leads or info greatly appreciated. Have many documents and
info. Willing to share. Just need to know the parents of these guys and if they are
brothers. I also have this census of a William Grimes household who are they? 1830:
madison William Grimes (looks like same area as Thomas ) 1 male 15-20 b/1810-1815 1 male
20-30- b. 1800-1810, 1 male 30-40 b/ 1790-1800 1 female 15-20 b. 1810-1815 1 female 40-50-
b. 1780-1790 Of course, I do have, my own scenario. Any Grimes cousins out there? For the
past year I have been tracking these guys all alone. I'm beginning to think I'm their only

Madison Co. on 5 Jan 1818. He married Elizabeth Elanor (Ellen) SANDERS (b. Madison? Co. 12
May 1820) on 22 May 1839 at the home of her father, John SANDERS. John SANDERS died before
Jan 1844, probably in Madison City, GA, and had married Marah unknown, who was born in
1795, perhaps in Georgia. James Gildersleeve WOOTTON and family moved to Lafayette Co., MS
in 1844. Their two oldest children, William Sanders WOOTTON and James Jasper WOOTTON were
born in Madison Co. Any information on these people, their descendants, ancestors, and
