Searching for info on Michael Deason, b. abt 1800, d. after 1850,Dale Co, AL, m. ca 1842
Kitzie Ann Hair, b. 1 Aug 1819, d. 2 Nov 1896, Dale Co, AL. In Marion Co, GA in 1850
Census, later moved to Dale Co, Al, where Kitzie Ann buried. Have no further info on them
before my ggrandmother, who was their dau. Sarah Ann Deason, m. James Berry Cain. A
granddaughter, then in her 90's and since died, told me that Kitzie "used to ride a
horse to Buena Vista to visit family" so apparently they still had family in the area
after they moved to AL. Any help appreciated.

sale document dated March 1856 where his belongings were sold after his death, so he died
sometime before March 1856. He lived in Marion County, but his farm was very close to the

I'm seeking information on my gggrandfather L. D. HUTCHINSON b. 2-18-1829 and

L. D. HUTCHINSON died in 1865. Susan died 8-19-1862. Five of their six children died
between 1861 and 1863. Their remaining child Charles Jefferson HUTCHINSON was born
8-5-1854. Charles Jefferson HUTCHINSON, his future wife Lucy Virginia NEWTON b.
11-17-1859, Dick NEWTON, and Martha NEWTON were taken from Georgia about 1865 by a Mrs.
MCGEE. They traveled with a group of people leaving Georgia heading for. Texas. Some or
all of this group including Mrs, McGee and the children finally settled in Grant Parish,

I was recently in Buena Vista looking for a Providence Baptist church cemetery. My
directions lead me to the main cemetery downtown but there were none of the names I was
seeking. Can someone tell me if there is another cemetery that may be the correct one? I
am looking for Palmer, Wilkins, Short family names - some of them buried as early as 1880
and some as late as 1940s. Seemed to be a nice town with friendly people. If I can get

Beuna Vista. He first married Elline Annet Manervia Adams, daughter of Benjaamin and Emily
(Ivey) Adams of Upson Co., Ga. They had one child Ora E. McComb (born march 2, 1871 died
December 15, 1892) She married J. W. Long and they had 3 children Edna, Lillie and Arthur
Long. She is buried in Beuna Vista Cemetery. Andrew D. McComb then married his first
wife's neice, Martha F. (Mattie) Adams, daughter of Joseph Randall Adams and Mary
Elizabeth (Caldwell) Adams. Mattie Died July 7, 1907. The Long children were carried to
Longview Ok. after their mother died.
