Would like information about the LOVVORN family. My grandmother

died when she was very young, perhaps in her teens. Somehow Warddie came
to be in Cullman Co., AL where she married Armnies C. Crumbley. Warddie
and Armnies lived in the Holly Pond area for a short while, then moved
to Blountsville, where they lived until their deaths. They had 8 children,

PARRIS, TUCKER, PETITS, JACKSON
Searching for info on the parents of Robert PARRIS, b.
1824/25, d Jan 1864, who married in Gilmer County in 1842, Ms. Lovina TUCKER,
b. about 1821. They had a number of children, Teresa, John James, Robert
Lee, Martha,Nathan Haswell and Alford Adolphus. Lovina TUCKER had a brother,
Billy(probably William) who took over the PARRIS farm aft the War Between
The States. It was located between Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Lovina died
about July 1864. Youngest children probably went to live with her parents.
Others were scattered throughout Gilmer and maybe other counties to live
with other families (PETITs and JACKSONs for sure). Robert's father may
have been Nathan or Nathaniel PARRIS. They all probably came from South
Carolina. Believe Lovina's parents lived near Dalton in Whitfield County.

WEBB, MAXWELL
In desperate need of help finding my grandfather, Arthur
H. WEBB, He was married to Ada MAXWELL in Carroll Co., GA in 1907. My mother,
now deceased, wondered all her life about her father. She was born in Polk
Co., GA 1 Jan 1909, her name was Helen Louise WEBB. I have found some court
documents in Carroll Co. GA Courthouse with my grandfather's name on them,
along with a H.W. WEBB and a J. L. WEBB, who I feel must be related. I
did locate J. W. Webb's grandson, living in Franklin Co., GA. I was told
by many different sources, including his wife, that he was "really into
WEBB genealogy and had compiled quite a bit throughout the years" but I
have spoken with him twice and he claims not to know my grandfather.
My grandmother divorced Arthur H. WEBB in 1913 in Haralson
Co., GA. On the divorce papers, the first reason being listed as "intermarriage".
I have heard that he was part Cherokee but have no "proof" of this. The
2nd reason for the divorce being that he would not stay home and she did
not know his where abouts. I have been unable to find him on all census
years. Any small idea or detail will be eternally appreciated.
