Death Records

Death Certificates are available from 1919 to the present by contacting the Georgia Vital Statics Office.

Theoretically the Oconee County Probate Office should have death certificates from 1875 through the present, however certificates issued before 1929 seem to be rare.

The Secretary of State's Office has images of death certificates available online for the years of 1919-1927.
