She was the daughter of Elizabeth Louise Autry (Brown). Nancy was named for her GG Grandmother Susan America
Malcom Butler and her Aunt Nancy Butler. She was born in 1933 in Oconee County on what is now Pete Dickens Rd.
near McNutt Creek. She passed away in 2001 in Hollywood California. Nancy was a graduate of Athens High and the
University of Georgia. She married the love of her life, Albert Cavens, A Hollywood stuntman, fencing teacher, and
(swashbuckler) chorographer. She worked 37 years for a large international law firm in Los Angeles as head of their
probate accounting department. Nancy was raised by her loving Grandmother, Clyde Maxey Autry who was a great
influence on her life. She traveled the world, but her heart was always in Georgia.
