JJ and Jerusha Jennings

This is James Jackson Jennings (born September 4, 1822 in Clarke Co., GA, died January 3, 1914 in Oconee Co., GA). He was the son of Henry S. Jennings (original owner of Jenning Mill) and Nancy Landrum. He married Jerusha Antoinette Conner (born July 29, 1825 in Clarke Co., died March 17, 1905 in Oconee Co.) She was the daughter of Edward Conner and Rebecca Cook, and the grand-daughter of Zadock Cook. James and Jerusha are both buried in the Jackson family cemetery in Oconee Co. Photo dates from about 1900.
