Mattie and Hattie Pugh were the only children on Clayton Pugh and Margaret Shaw (b. December 17, 1847 in Wayswood, Greene Co. Ga, and also died there, were married January 26, 1875 in Greene Co. Ga. 1) Mattie Lou Pugh b: January 28, 1877 d: February 10, 1946 in Winterville, Clarke Co., GA married m: January 26, 1896 in Greene Co., GA to Walter Preston Wood b: September 22, 1875 in Oconee Co, GA d: September 13, 1941. 2) Hattie Pugh b: Abt. 1878 d: 1951 buried in Huff Cemetery, Oconee Co., GA married July 14, 1895 in Greene Co., GA to James Lou Miller b: Abt. 1871
