Leslie E. Jackson, 80, of 373 West Hancock Avenue, died in a local hospital today at 8 a.m. after an illness of three weeks.

Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from Bernstein's Chapel with Rev. R.E. Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson is survived by a son, Leslie V. Jackson, Athens, and three grandchildren.

He was a native of Oconee County, Ga., and had lived here for twenty-one years.
