3rd day of Nov. 1845Georgia ] This Indenture made this 4th day of December
1844 between
Oglethorpe County ] Sarah Banks, William Banks & Jonathan Colquitt of the one Part and Thomas Nowel of the second Part Witnesseth that in Consideration of the sum of Eight hundred and Sixty Dollars in hand Paid by the said Thomas Nowel of the Second Part to the said Sarah, William and Jonathan at and before the delivery and Delivery of this Parties the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Sarah, William and Jonathan do this day grant bargain and Sell & convey & by these presents do grant bargain Sell & Convey unto the Said Thomas his heirs & assigns forever in fee Simple the following tract of land being in said county on the waters of Indian Creek Containing four hundred & Seventy Acres more or less adjoining lands of William Collins, Avery Hart, Joseph Bradford & Alexander Martin being the Tract of Land whereon the said Sarah Banks now lives and being the tract of Land whereon James Banks late of said Cty. Deceased. And the said Sarah, William & Jonathan for themselves their heirs Executors & Administrators unto the said Thomas his heirs & assigns the receipt and title of the aforesaid land will warrant & by these Presents will warrant & forever defend against the claims of all Persons whatsoever.In Witiness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & Seals this 4th
