Know all men by these presents that we LAMUEL ATKINSON and JANE ATKINSON, late JANE ANDREWS, doth hereby give and grant and by these presents do give grant and confirm unto WILLIAM ANDREWS, SUSANNAH W. ARNOLD, WIATT ANDREWS, JACOB W. ANDREWS, NANCY ANDREWS AND AVE P. ANDREWS the heirs of GARNETT ANDREWS all that part of the land and estate of the said deceased that we are interested in or may be here after interested in in any manner whatever. We the above named LEMUAL and JANE ATKINSON do hereby renounce all rights and title or claim to or in the said tract of land lying in the aforesaid county and on the waters of Grove Creek to the above named _________ and will warrant and defend the said land from the claim of all and any persons whatsoever claiming warranty with our hand and seal this 30th day of December 1815.

Barring only the privilege of reaping crop of wheat sown previous to marriages.

340 ACRES ON GOLDEN GROVE CREEK - OGLETHORPE COUNTY, GEORGIA

DATED: FEBRUARY 24TH, 1804

This indenture made this twenty fourth day of February one thousand eight hundred and four between HUGH ECTOR and ELEANOR ECTOR his wife of the county of Oglethorpe and State of Georgia of the one part and GARNETT ANDREWS of the State and county aforesaid of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said HUGH ECTOR and ELEANOR his wife for and in consideration of the sum of fourteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said GARNETT ANDREWS before the sealing and delivering of these presents hath given, granted and bargained and sold and do by these presents give, grant bargain and sell unto the said GARNETT ANDREWS his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county and State aforesaid containing three hundred and forty acres lying on both sides of the Golden Grove Creek and butted and bounded as follows (wiz):

Beginning at a stake on the Golden Grove Creek running N 85 W11 chains and 70 links to a white oak corner on MARK PHILLIPS line from thence N 10 E 22 chains and 60 links to a post oak corner on WILLIAM BATTELS line from thence S 75 E _____ the grove _____ 43 chains and 70 links to Lou S _______ line to a post oak from thence S 15 W 4 chains and 40 links to a black oak corner from thence S 69 E 7 chains and 30 links to a Black Oak corner from thence S3 W 40 chains and 30 links on GRESHAM'S line to a stump from thence S 87 E 44 chains and 80 links to a post oak corner on PHILLIPS line from thence S5 W8 chains to a black oak corner from thence a direct line to a gum corner on the creek from thence down the meanders of the Grove Creek to the beginning corner. Which was granted to CURTIS WILBORN and JOHN PHILLIPS together with all the easements appurtenances to the said land belonging or in any way appertaining to have and to hold the said bargained premises to the only proper use and behoove of him the said GARNETT ANDREWS his heirs and assigns forever against him, the said HUGH ECTOR and ELEANOR his wife their heirs and assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever and we the said HUGH ECTOR and ELEANOR his wife do warrant and defend the above bargained premises unto GARNETT ANDREWS his heirs and assigns forever.

93 ACRES LITTLE BEAVER DAM CREEK - OGLETHORPE COUNTY, GEORGIA

Georgia - Oglethorpe County

This indenture made the first day of December one thousand eight hundred and twelve between WILLIAM H. CLOPTON and AVE his wife of the one part and MARK ANDREWS of the other part both of the county and state aforesaid.

Witnesseth that the said WILLIAM H. CLOPTON and AVE his wife for and in the consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged by the said WILLIAM H. CLOPTON himself, fully satisfied hath bargained, granted and sold and by these presents do bargain sell grant and confirm in fee simple unto the said MARK ANDREWS to him his heirs and assigns for ever one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county aforesaid on the Little Beaver Dam Creek containing ninety three acres more or less beginning at a birch corner on said creek running thence S80 E 26 chains 75 links on HARTSFIELD line to a post oak corner thence S14 W 35 chains to a white oak corner on a small branch thence down said branch to the mouth thence down the Beaver Dam Creek to the beginning corner.

To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said MARK ANDREWS his heirs and assigns for ever and the said WILLIAM H. CLOPTON and AVE his wife do for themselves their heirs and assigns covenant to defend the said tract of land against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons and by these presents do and shall warrant and will forever defend the said tract or parcel of land against the demand or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever.

In witness whereof the said W.H. CLOPTON and AVE his wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals this the day and year first above written.

This indenture made this eleventh day of June in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and eighteen between ANTHONY G. SMITH, HEZEKIAH LUCKIE and CHESLEY ARNOLD guardians to the orphans of GARNETT ANDREWS, deceased , of the one part and WILLIAM ANDREWS, JR., of the other part.
Witnesseth that at an adjournment of Inferior Court of said county held on the sixth day of October eighteen hundred and sixteen an order was granted by said court authorizing the said guardians to sell three hundred and eighty two acres of land _____ the same more or less lying in the aforesaid county, it being the real estate of said deceased adjoining Col. JOHN GRESHAM and others and whereas the said land was duly advertised in the Georgia Journal agreeable to law for the term of sixty days was on the first Tuesday in January eighteen hundred and seventeen was exposed to sale at public auction at the door of this courthouse where the said WILLIAM ANDREWS has become the highest bidder and the said land was _________ off to him at a fair price of eighteen hundred dollars twelve and one half cents now in for consideration of the sum of money aforesaid the payment whereof is ___________ to us agreeable to the terms of the sale we the Guardians aforesaid have bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sale and convey unto the said WILLIAM ANDREWS, the aforesaid tract of land to have and to hold the same together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances unto the said tract of land belonging or in any wise appertaining and the said tract of land and _________unto the said WILLIAM ANDREWS unto his heirs, and assigns ________ for we defend against the claims of the heirs and assigns of the said Garnett Andrews deceased or any other person or persons claiming title to the same by or through him and will warrant the same against the right or claim of all and every other person or persons so far forth as the law authorizes us a guardian as aforesaid but no further. _________whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals as guardians of aforesaid the day and date before mentioned.

Page 90, 27 Dec 1794, Lucy Whatley, widow, & Samuel Whately, planter, Thomas Hobs, & Phineous Whatley, yeoman, who are the heirs of the above.  And said Thomas Hobs, Phinias Whatley of Oglethorpe Co, Ga. & Samuel Whatley of Wilkes Co., Ga., to Elijah Smith of Wilkes Co.  The said Lucy Whatley, & each & every of the above mentioned heirs of said Lucy, for £50, on S. side of John Quern's Creek, 200 acres, adj. E. by John Querns, S. by land formerly surveyed for William Littleton, decd., W. by Talbot, E. by said John Querns on Hardens Creek, the 200 acres granted to George Lea, 12 Jan. 1788.  Sold by deed by said George to above named Lucy. (signed) Lucey (x) Whatley, Phinious Whatley, Thomas (x) Hobs, Samuel Whately.  Wit: Silas Mercer, John (J) Edwards.  Proved by John Edwards, 27 Aug. 1796, before John Lea, J.P.  Regd. 5 Nov 1796.
