Jackson Chapel News

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Shaw, of Chattanooga, were the week end guest of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Shaw.

Mr. Raymond Johnson and family, of Gadsden, Ala., spent the week ed with relatived here.

Mr. J. D. Beck and Miss Lucile Sparks were happily united in marriage on Aug. the 22nd. Ordinary Smith officiating. We wish for them a long and happy life.

Mr. Chlorus Williams, of Esom Hill, was here Sunday.

Mr. G. L. Shaw and family were visitors near Rehobeth one day last week.

Messrs. Hiram, and C. T. Landers and their families, of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brown, of Gadsden, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. John Burton, of Rockmart, attended the funeral of Mr. T. A. Shaw here last week.

Miss Lucile Beck was a visitor at Gadsden recently.

Miss Mary Lou Blythe of Cedartown, soent the week end here.

Remember there will be an all-day singing here Sunday. Every body invited, especially singers. Come spend the day.

Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Kirk, of Atlanta, were the week end guest of the former's mother, Mrs. Barbara Kirk.

Several from here have been attending meeting at Pleasant Hill, and Corinth this week.

Messrs. B. F. Rice and C. B. Shepard and Miss Hattie Rice were shopping in Rockmart Saturday.

Mr. Lawrence Kirk left here Tuesday for Berry's chool. His many friends wish him success.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Zuker and children, Irene and Dorothy, Mrs. John Johnson and children, Pearl and Junior, were visiting Mrs. Nora Sexton, of Wood Falls, last Thursday.

Mr. Julius Moore, of Youngs, was here Saturday.

Messrs. John Johnson, Jim Hughes, Sanders Johnson, Ben and Lawrence Winkles were in your cithy Saturday.

Mrs. Charlie Maddox and children, Fannie Lue, Vera Mae, and Buddie, and Mrs. Mary Maddox of Youngs, were visiting Mrs. John Johnson Monday.

Mr. Sanders Johnson spent Sunday night as the guest of his aunt, Mrs. Nora Sexton of Wood Falls.

Messrs. Ben and Lawrence Winkles were at Pooletown Sunday afternoon.

Misses Pearl Johnson and Irene Zuker were in your ciey Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blair, of Youngs, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Irvin Roberts and Miss Laura Roberts were in your city Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Wilson Hughes, of Youngs, was here Sunday.

Messrs. John Johnson and Claude Zuker were at Pooletown Monday.

Mrs. J. J. Wiggins spent the week end with her daughter, Mrs. Clifford Jackson, of Rockmart.

Mrs. E. J. Mitchell and family returned home Wednesday after a week's visit with relatives in Gadsden and on Sand Mountain.

Little Edna Couey, of Anniston, returned home Saturday after visiting relatives here.

Mrs. McDougle, of Bostwrich, is visiting her son, Mr. L. P. McDougle, of this place.

Mrs. E. J. Mitchell and little daughters, Doris and Irene, left Sunday for a visit to orelatives in Atlanta.

Mrs. Fannie Couey and family spent this week end with Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Couey, of Anniston.
