Cedartown, November 24---On yesterday afternoon Captain Prendergast, a machinist in the employ of the iron Company, while at work was stricken down with paralysis, and up to late in the afternoon was unable to speak. The report is current to day that the attending physicians entertain little hope of Recovery

  ---Dr. Richardson's horse attached to his buggy, ran away on yesterday, making kindling wood of the buggy, but doing no damage to the animal. (The Daily Constitution, Atlanta, GA, November 27, 1880)
