Museum
The Rabun County Historical Society Museum is located at 81 North Church Street in downtown Clayton, GA, near the County Courthouse. The museum is open to the public on Mondays 10 am to 2 pm, Wednesdays from 12:30pm to 4:30 pm and Fridays, 10 am to 2 pm, or at other times by appointment. It houses a growing collection of research materials for Rabun County and the surrounding areas, as well as unique items that are invaluable to area researchers, including a hand-drawn map of the original land lots.

Please note that Rabun County, Georgia and Its People, Vol. I is now out of print; there are no immediate plans to have it reprinted. The Rabun County Historical Society currently has two publications for sale:
Sketches of Rabun County History, a reprint of Dr. Andrew Jackson Ritchie's comprehensive area history.
Pictorial History of Rabun County. Both publications are indexed.
