1935 Augusta Bi-Centinnial Parade Float

Float for the 1935 Bi-centennial of Augusta, GA. The float was sponsored by the Junior Order of American Mechanics and their ladies auxillary, The Daughters of America. The photo was taken on Greene St, Augusta. The only identified persons are the soldier standing with the rifle is John Hogan Murray. The white haired lady with no hat, on the left under the flag is his mother, Mattie Murray. The little girl in the middle of the three small girls on the left is Martha Krewson.

Allen Park 1900-1914

Turn-of-the-twentieth century postcard image depicting a bridge in Allen Park in Augusta, Georgia. Sutherland Mills appears in the background of the image. Allen Park was one of several city parks to be opened along the Augusta Canal during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Located at the northeast corner of Fifteenth Street and May Avenue, Allen Park was frequented by the families of nearby factory and mill workers.

Employees of Graniteville Mfg. Co. Cloth Room

I am guessing the picture is from the 1920s, but not sure. I would like to see if anyone can identify employees and date. The third lady from the left is Jane Irene Hadden (now Puckett) and the fourth is her sister Mary Jane Hadden (now McGahee), Jane Irene was my mother, both ladies are deceased.
