According to the closet home owner to the cemetery, a gentleman who
has spent his entire life on land adjoining the cemetery. His family
has been in the area for several generations. The cemetery was
originally 2 acres in size. There are 12 markers .There are
indications of 84 additional graves inside the old collapsed and
rusted fence. The cemetery size at this time is approximately 300 feet
square. I have found to the north, east and south of the cemetery
indications of another 100 graves. The present property owner has
planted pines trees in what was that part of the cemetery. The
gentleman that lives closet to the cemetery told me that he repeatedly
told the present owner to stop plowing up the cemetery. Family names
in the cemetery are McKinnon, McRae, Mizell ,Cotter and Williams. The
Harrell Family stones have been removed.
