This Indenture made this eleventh day of May in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty between Stephen
Scott of Fayette County of the one part and John Burgamy of Pike County of
the other part. Witnesseth that the said Stephen Scott for and in
consideration of the sum of thirteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid
at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed
and does by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
John Burgamy his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the County of Fayette known and distinguished
as Lot number forty eight (48) and the East half of Lot number forty nine
(49) containing all the three hundred three and three fourths acres more
or less all in the fourth district of originally Henry now Fayette County
to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said John
Burgamy his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights
members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to
his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and
that the said Stephen Scott for himself his heirs his executors and
administrators the said bargained premises unto the said John Burgamy his
heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title
thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons
whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Stephen Scott hath hereunto set
his hand and seal the day and year above written.

This Indenture made this twentieth day of November
one thousand eight hundred and fifty between Martin Norton of the County &
State aforesaid of the one part and John Burgamy of the same place of the
other part. Witnesseth that the said Martin Norton for & in consideration
of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid at & before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and does by these
presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said John Burgamy his heirs
& assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being a part
of the Lot 17 seventeen in the fourth district of Fayette County beginning
Northeast corner of the said lot running South to the first big branch
then down said branch to the line of 48 thence East to the beginning
corner containing 70 acres more or less bearing such shape and form as may
appear together with all and singular the members and appurtenances
thereunto or in anywise belonging and we the above named Martin Norton
will warrant and forever defend the rights title and interest of said lot
or parcel of land to be free from the claims of myself my heirs and
assigns & from the claim or claims of any person or his heirs & assigns
forever in fee simple. In testimony whereof the said Martin Norton hath
hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

This Indenture made the twenty first day of December
eighteen hundred and fifty two between William Miller of the State &
County aforesaid of the one part and John Burgamy of the same state and
county of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Miller for &
in consideration of the sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars to him in
hand paid at & before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and
conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the
said John Burgamy his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the third district of originally Henry County
now Spalding County it being the West half of Lot number four in said
containing one hundred one and a fourth acres more or less to have and to
hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said John Burgamy his
heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and
appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to him and their
own proper use benefit and behoof in fee simple and the said William
Miller for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said
bargained premises unto the said John Burgamy his heirs and assigns will
warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves
and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof

February 1857 between John Burgamy & Isaac Kendal both of the State &
County aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said John Burgamy for and in
consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him in paid at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by
these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said Isaac Kendal his
heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being
in the fourth district of original Henry now Spalding County known and
distinguished in the plan of said district by number forty nine it being
the West half of said lot containing one hundred one and a fourth acres
more or less to have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him
the said Isaac Kendal his heirs & assigns together with all and singular
the rights members & appurtenances thereunto belonging to his and their
own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said John
Burgamy for himself his heirs executors & administrators the said
bargained tract or parcel of land unto the said Isaac Kendal his heirs and
assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof
against themselves & against the claim of all other persons whatsoever.

in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine between
John Burgamy of the County aforesaid of the one part and Isaac Kendell of
the County of Spalding of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John
Burgamy for and in consideration of the sum of fifty two hundred & twenty
five dollars to him in paid at and before the sealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained and sold and by the present doth grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Isaac Kendell his heirs and assigns all that tract lots or
parcels of land situate lying and being in the County of Spalding known
and distinguished as Lot number (48) forty eight and the East half of Lot
number (49) forty nine in the fourth district of original Fayette now
Spalding County also seventy (?) acres of Lot number seventeen (17) in the
fourth district of original Fayette now Spalding County beginning at the
Northeast corner of said lot running south to the first big branch thence
down said branch to the line of number forty eight (48) thence East to the
beginning corner the whole containing Ten (? – s/b Three) hundred and
seventy five acres more or less to and to hold the said parcel of land
with all and singular the rights member and appurtenances thereof unto him
the Isaac Kendell his heirs and assigns to him and their own proper use
benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said John Burgamy for
himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises
with the appurtenances unto the said Isaac Kendall his heirs and assigns
will warrant and defend against all claims whatsoever. In Witness whereof
the said John Burgamy hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year
above written.
