Ogletree From James M. Gibson

Spalding County This indenture made and entered
into this the nineteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred
and fifty eight between James M Gibson of the county of
Fayette and state of Georgia of the one part and Absalom H
Ogletree of the county of Spalding and same state of the other
part Witnesseth that the said Gibson for and in consideration
of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before
the sealing and delivering of these present the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold unto the said
Ogletree a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the third district originally Fayette thence but now
Spalding the same being fifty acres more or less the same being in
the north west corner of lot of land known and distinguished in the
plan of said district by the number fifty five To have and to hold
the said bargained premises unto the said Ogletree his heirs
and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and
appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging or
appertaining to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof
forever in fee simple and the said James M. Gibson for
himself his heirs and assigns unto the Absalom H. Ogletree
his heirs and assigns the said bargained premises will warrant and
forever defend the right and title thereof against the claim of
himself and against the claim of any other persons whatsoever in
witness whereof the said James M Gibson hath hereto
set his hand and affixed the day and year first above written
