Lovic P. Ogletree To Absalom Ogletree

Spalding County This indenture made and entered
into this the twenty fourth day of February in the year of our lord
one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between Lovic P.
Ogletree of the one part and Absalom Ogletree of the
other part both of the county and state aforesaid Witnesseth that
Lovic P. Ogletree for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred and twenty five dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged doth grant bargain sell release confirm and
convey unto the said Absalom Ogletree thirty acres of
land more or less situate lying and being in the north east corner
of lot No (144) one hundred and forty four in the fourth district of
Fayette county formerly now Spalding County being as follows viz
commencing at the corner of the lot at (N E) from thence south to a
certain branch and commencing there and running with the branch west
to a certain stake set up on a line dividing the lot running from
south to north which is also the west boundary of said thirty acres
and the said L.P. Ogletree doth hereby bind himself his heirs
or assigns unto the said Absalom Ogletree his heirs or
assigns to warrant and forever defend the right and title of said
land together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining to have and to hold for their own proper use
benefit and behoof in fee simple in witness whereof I have here
unto set my hand and affixed my seal
