Will of Absalom Ogletree
State of Georgia
Spalding County Last will and
testament of Absalom Ogletree.
I A. Ogletree of said state and County
being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last
will and testament hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me.
Item the 1st I will my daughter
Mrs. E. V. Strickland one third of my estate consisting of land
and household effects or other property.
Item the 2nd I will my daughter
Frances E. Barfield one third of my estate consisting of land
and household effects or other property.
Item the 3rd I will to Miss Mary
E. Copland the remaining one third of my estate consisting of
land and household effects or other property the same being given
for services rendered to me and my wife during our lives
Item the 4 I desire my executor to sell all my
land as to best advantage at public or private sale as they may see
fit.
Item the 5 I herby appoint C.M. Hammond
executor of this my will in testimony whereof I have hereto set my
hand this 7th day of October 1908
Sighed and published by A. Ogletree as
his last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned who
subscribe our names hereto as witnesses at the instance and request
of said testator and in the presence of each other this the 7th
day of October 1908
