We have received the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Bettie Mills,
wife of Joseph Mills, which sad event occurred at her residence near Carsonville
on Tuesday last.

The very unexpected death of Mr. Charley E. McCrary, occurred at 11
o’clock on Saturday night last at the residence of his brother, Mr. J.W. McCrary
at Butler, after a short but painful illness of congestion of the brain.

Mr. Chas. McCrary died at his home in Butler on Sunday, after a brief illness of
brain fever. He was a young man, and his death is deeply regretted by numerous
friends.

Mrs. Elizabeth Huff, an old resident of Butler died a short time ago in
Ozark, Ala. in the 90th year of her age.
