Death - Aug. 12, 1908 died Claudie Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Adams. Was 9 years old and 2 days. Had congestion of the brain.

In Memoriam - Claudie Adams was born in Taylor Co., July 1898 and died Aug. 12, 1908. Leaves father, mother, grandmother. Wanted to be buried by her little sister who preceded her a few short months ago.
Resolution adopted by Pleasant Hill Sunday School
God has seen fit in his infinite wisdom to remove from our midst one of our fairest and much beloved pupil, little Claudie Adams. She was an attentive pupil and was always ready and willing to do anything that she could for the school. She was cheerful, kind and loving and by her sunny disposition won the love of the entire Sunday School.  Therefore be it resolved:  First. That we as a Sunday School have lost a good true pupil, a bright and steady light, that we will ever miss her presence, but we know our loss is her eternal gain. Resolved Second. That we bow in submission to the will of the Father and that we extend our heart felt sympathy to the bereaved family and commend them only to the source from which help can come of trouble and need. Resolved Third. That these resolutions be published in the Butler Herald and a copy of same be sent to the family of the deceased.
