The many friends of Mr. A.J. Colbert will regret to learn of his death which occurred at the residence of his daughter in Macon on Thursday last, in the 73rd year of his age.

The many friends of Mrs. R.S. Hollis, mother of Mr. Jas. A. Hollis, will regret to learn of her death which occurred at her residence two miles south of Butler at about 12 o’clock on Monday the 20th inst.  She was taken ill on Thursday last and gradually declined until Monday when she died on congestion.

of her grandson in Russell County, Ala. on June 16th.  She was eighty years of age, and had been a member of the Baptist church for over sixty years.
He remains were interred at Cave Springs.
