Hays
Mrs. Hays died at the home of her grandson, Mr. Sam Hays, in Phenix City, Ala., on Friday morning Nov. 29th.  The death of Mrs. Hays was rendered peculiarly sad.  Her daughter who had been in feeble health for some time rose from her bed and on finding her mother dead, she died almost instantly from the effects of the shock.  Mrs. Hays and her daughter were buried on Saturday at Mr. Elam church in Crawford County.  They formerly lived in Panhandle district of this county where they have many friends who will regret to learn of their death.
