Death of Mrs. Montgomery
Mrs. Cora Jane Montgomery, wife of S.R. Montgomery, after a lingering illness of four and a half months departed this life at her home in the northern part of the county, Nov. 6, 1907, and her remains were laid to rest in the Pine Level cemetery, Nov. 7th, in the presence of a large assembly of friends and relatives. She leaves a husband, five children (three boys and two girls), father, John C. Smith, of Meigs, Ga., six brothers and two sisters, besides a large number of friends and relatives to mourn their loss.
