Former Editor Dies in Douglas
Mr. S.H. Christopher, former editor of the Patriot and for a number of years a citizen of Buena Vista, died at his home in Douglas, Ga., on Tuesday, October 20th. Mr. Christopher was well known throughout Marion County and was beloved by all, and the sad news of his death was a shock to everyone.  He left here nearly three years ago, located in Coffee County, and founded the Coffee County News, of which he was overn and editor at the time of his death. Mr. Christopher leaves a wife, who was formerly Miss Lucy Brown, of this county, and three sons.  He was a member of the Methodist church and a Knight of Pythias. The people of Buena Vista and of Marion County all sympathize with the bereaved family in their loss of a husband and father.  He was buried at Reynolds on Wednesday, October 21st.
