Died
Mrs. George A. Heath, died at her home two miles north of Howard, on
Tuesday the 17th inst., after a long illness from consumption. She left an
affectionate husband and five children to mourn her death. She was a devoted
wife and mother, and a most excellent Christian lady.

Died
The sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Martha Holsey, was received in
Butler a few days ago, which sad event occurred at her home in Chatfield, Texas
on the 11th inst. She was the wife of J.H. Holsey, Esq., and the mother of a
large family of children who together with many friends here, lament her death.
Mrs. Holsey, with her family left for Texas in January 1884 where they have
since resided. Mrs. Holsey was a lady that suffered many trials and
persecutions but despite all of these she was a devoted wife, Christian mother
and loved by all who knew her. She was the only sister of Messrs. R. and
J.E. Montfort.
