GATIFT-L Mailing List

This GAGenWeb site has a mailing list to which you are welcome to join.  This mailing list has been created for researchers connected to Tift County, GA to have a convenient forum for exchanging information.  Please note that this mailing list is monitored.  Use of the list for subjects other than genealogical information dealing with Tift County, GA will not be tolerated.  Any abusers will be unsubscribed from the list and will be blocked from future use.

The mailing list comes in two forms.  The first is "mail mode".  This form means you will receive every posting made to the GATIFT as a separate email.  The second is "digest mode".  This form means that several postings are combined and sent to you together as a single large message.  The frequency of this "digest mode" is unknown at this time.   It may be once per day or less frequent.

To subscribe to "mail mode":

    Send an email to GATIFT-L-request@rootsweb.com that contains (in the body of the message) the command

    subscribe

    and no additional text.  If you are successfully subscribed, you will receive a welcome message detailing how to unsubscribe and other instructional material.  Please, no signature files or file attachments with this message.

To subscribe to "digest mode":

    Send an email to GATIFT-D-request@rootsweb.com that contains (in the body of the message) the command

    subscribe
