Mr.
N.L. Edwards, age 69, of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Wednesday, January
7, 2009
at Union General Hospital. Mr. Edwards
was born Thursday, July 20, 1939 in Towns County, Georgia to the late
Oliver
Edwards and the late Hazel Kirby Edwards.
He was a member of Enotah Baptist Church, retired after 30 years
of
teaching 5th and 6th Grade Math in Towns County and loved to farm.
Survivors
include: wife, Becky Reed Edwards of Hiawassee,
GA, son & daughter-in-law, Jeff and Melva Edwards of Clermont, GA,
daughter
& son-in-law, Phyllis and John Clemons of Hiawassee, GA, sister and
husband, Edith and Mack McNees of Brownsburg, IN, grandchildren, Brandy
Campbell, Cody Edwards, Noah Clemons and Chantel Clemons, great
grandson, Aidan
Campbell, niece, Sheree Dippel, mother-in-Law (sis), Oda Reed of
Hiawassee, GA,
and several cousins.
Funeral
services were held Friday, January 9, 2009 at 2 PM from the Cochran
Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating.
Music was provided by the Phillips Family. Interment
was in Lower Bell Creek
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randall
McConnell, Jimmy Taff, Derwin Adkins, Royce Dillard, Ricky Smith and
Dennis
Mathis.
The

The
family of Victoria Ann (Wright) Seifarth sadly announce the death of
their
loving sister, mother and grandmother, who died on January 4, 2009
after a long
wonderful life surrounded by her family.
Victoria was born in Columbia, MO, but settled in Atlanta with
her
family in childhood. A graduate of Brown
High School, Victoria went on to study speech pathology at Oglethorpe
and
Vanderbilt Universities earning a Masters Degree from Vanderbilt in
1956. She worked as a speech pathologist
in
Chattanooga, TN, Denver CO, New Delhi, India, and finally for 15 years
in
Atlanta. Victoria married Charles
Kenneth Seifarth in 1958 and had tow sons, Eric and Kurt, before moving
overseas; spending 10 years in then Saigon, Vietnam and New Delhi,
India. She returned to Atlanta with family
in 1971
and gained a long career with the Atlanta City School system. After the death of her husband in 2005, she
moved to the North Georgia Mountains to be close to family. Victoria is survived by her two sons, Eric
Seifarth of Young Harris, GA, and Kurt Seifarth, of Brussels, Belgium;
her two
grandsons, Sam and Peter; her sister Barbara Clark, of Cleveland, GA,
and
brother, John Wright, of Los Angeles, CA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on February 20, 2009
at
Covenant Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
