Benjamin
McEwing Earl, 83 of Hiawassee, GA
formally of Monroe, MI, passed away January 15, 2011 at Emory
University
Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born
June 17, 1927 in Tazewell, TN to Bertha (Essary) and Iva Earl. He then married his wife Rosemary (Ellerman)
in Monroe, MI in 1950 and was married for 51 years until her passing.
Benjamin
is survived
by two daughters Jennifer Allyn Earl (Snehal Vashi) of Atlanta, GA and
Rebecca
Sue McFarlane (Dayton) of Monroe, MI; one son Frederick Ben Earl (Greg
Kozer)
of Dundee, MI; his tow sisters Sally Norton (Glen) of Monroe, MI and
Marian
McPhillips (Richard-deceased) of Toledo, OH; one granddaughter, Tana
McFarlane
of Chicago, IL; brother-in-aw Don Ellerman (Marty) of Loudon, TN and
several
nieces and nephews. He was proceeded
(sic) in death by his parents, wife Rosemary, brother William, (Lucy),
grandson
Alex McFarlane, niece Amy McDaniel and sister-in-law Jane Niermann.
He was an active member and past
Elder of All Saints Lutheran Church Blairsville, GA.
He was a world traveler, avid woodcarver,
card player, hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his
family and
friends. Mr. Earl served in the US Army
and retired from General Motors Hydromatic, Toledo, OH.
A memorial service to celebrate the
life of Mr. Earl will be held at the All Saints Lutheran church
Blairsville, GA
on February 26, 2011. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to the Hamilton memorial Rhododendron
Garden in
Hiawassee, GA in care of Jennifer Earl 2868 Shady-Valley Dr., NE,
Atlanta GA

Kelly
Jean Josack, age 46, of Hiawassee, GA,
passed away on January 06, 2011. She was
born to parents John William Rodovich, Jr. and Elizabeth, (Balch)
Rodovich
Sims, on February 10, 1964 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She
was preceded in death by her father John
William Rodovich, Jr. in 1979 and a sister, Jackie Rodovich in 1986.
She is survived by her mother and
step-father, Elizabeth Sims and step-father, Albert Sims; daughter,
Brittnee
Storm Josack, of Baldwin, GA; son, Derek William Josack, Jr., of
Baldwin, GA;
sister, Jill D’Angelo, of Lauderhill, FL; nieces, Bridget Anne Lago, of
Lantana, FL; Brooke Alison Nolli, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and many
other
friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held on
Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 3 PM from Hiawassee United Methodist
Church of
Hiawassee, GA with pastor Jim Blair officiating. In
lieu of flowers, if you wish donations may be made in Kelly Josack’s
name to
your favorite animal organization.
