Mrs.
Florence Marion Rose, age 87, of Brasstown Creek Estates, Young Harris
passed
away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at her home following an extended
illness. Mrs. Rose was born on November
26, 1920 in
Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Frank Konter and the late
Victoria Konter. She was preceded in death
by a son, Douglas D. Rose in 1975.
Mrs. Rose was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving
Mrs. Rose are her loving husband of sixty-three years, Donald Rose of
Young
Harris; one brother, Frank Konter and one sister, Mildred Dettman, both
of
Florida; special friends, Lori and Greg Armour of Gillsville, GA, Bob
and Dot
Vaughn of Young Harris, Bob and Jeanette Page of A; two grandchildren;
many
other relatives and friends also survive.
No
services are planned at this time. IN
lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be
made to
the Cardinal O’Hara High School in Tonawanda, NY in Mrs. Rose’s memory.
