Mrs. fannie bell collins

 

Mrs. Fannie Bell Collins, age 91 of Young Harris, GA passed away on March 31, 2006 following a period of declining health.  She was born to the late John Oscar and Cannie (Ensley) Sampson on February 23, 1915 in Union County, GA.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Dewey Wofford, of Sandy Springs, GA; daughter, Patricia Hall, of Conyers, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Gail Stephens, of Auburn, GA; step sons, Gerald Collins of Loveland, CO; and Charles (Oz) Collins of Eaton, CO; grandchildren, Amanda and Brad Stephens, Ricky and Randy Hall, and Renee’ Luke; great grandchildren, Leah, Tara, Jenna and Matthew Luke.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hogsed and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Pallbearers were Ricky and Randy Hall, Brad Stephens and David Stephens.  Music was provided by Ulysses and Dorothy Sampson.  Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

mrs. robyn (robbie) L. wiley

 

Mrs. Robyn (Robbie) L. Wiley, age 53, of Holly Hill Drive, Hiawassee, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 after a lifetime battle with cancer.  Mrs. Wiley was born June 24, 1952 in Ludington, MI, the daughter of the late Clifford Henry Mavis and Joyce Allen Mavis.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Henry Mavis and by a sister, Jeanne Marie Butterfield.

Surviving Mrs. Wiley are her loving husband, Roy Q. Wiley of Hiawassee; mother, Joyce Allen Mavis of Hiawassee; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ami Louise and Rodney Thompson, Heather Marie Burke all of Ludington, MI; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Katherine Monk of Hiawassee, Susan and Gene; one brother, Mavis of Hope, AK; two grandchildren, Summer and Seth Daniel Thompson; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends also survive.
