mrs. bonnie lee johnson

 

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Johnson, age 66, of Dixie Lane, Hiawassee, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Union General Hospital following an extended illness.  Mrs. Johnson was born on November 2, 1938 in Muskegon, MI and moved to Hiawassee in 1999 from Essexville, MI, the daughter of the late Elmer Ojala and the late Grace Anway Ojala.  Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Surviving Mrs. Johnson are three children, Larry and Robin Johnson of Williamston, MI, Belinda Gravette of Alabama, Jack and Michelle Johnson of Scottville, MI and 8 grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time.

mrs. vella josephine (maney) sprinkles

 

Mrs. Vella Josephine (Maney) Sprinkles, age 87, of Hiawassee, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in Chatuge Regional Nursing Home.

Mrs. Sprinkles was born October 2, 1917 in Clay County, NC, to the late Arthur Andrew and Ella Leoma (Kirby) Maney.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Sprinkles was retired from Charles Pharmacy.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Sprinkles and brother, Harley Weldon Maney.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Herman Swanson of Hiawassee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Betty Sprinkles of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Gerald Maney of Clay County, NC; grandson and wife, Jonathan and Amy Sprinkles; grandson, Terry Profilia; grandson and wife, Dwight and Tracy Swanson; granddaughter Sheree Swanson; great grandchildren, Kayla Sprinkles, William Moss, Whitley Swanson, Leigh Gribble and Hailey Swanger; nephew, Glen Maney of Elizabethton, TN.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford, Rev. Danny O’Kelly officiating.  Music was provided by Glen and Sheila Eller and Martha Barrett.  Interment was in Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers were Reggie Sprinkles, Lamar Chastain, Roger Sprinkles, Colin Kelley, Bobby Kirby and Randall Sprinkles.

mrs. gina renea bradshaw ditmore

 

Mrs. Gina Renea Bradshaw Ditmore, age 21, of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2005 in Erlanger Health System.  She was born in Towns County, GA on May 2, 1983 to David and Audrey Bradshaw, of Hiawassee, GA.  She is also survived by her husband, Mr. Jake Ditmore, of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Mr. David Jacob Bradshaw, of Hiawassee, GA; grandparents, Christine Brown, of Hiawassee, GA; and Linda Aten, of Hiawassee, GA.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Mt. Pleasant Church of God, with Rev. Glen Eller and Rev. Jarvis Bennett officiating.  Pallbearers were Richard Ditmore, Samuel Ditmore, Mike Ditmore, Josh Bonts, Junior Bradshaw, Danny Brown, David Bradshaw, and Justin Ledford.  Honorary pallbearers were Justin Thomas and Bill Fitzgiveins.  Interment was in Boyds Chapel Cemetery.  Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.

Master Jake John Ditmore III, age 16 months, of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Erlanger Health System.  He was born in Cherokee County, NC on December 16, 2003.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Gina Renea (Bradshaw) Ditmore on April 22, 2005 and an unborn sister, Genesis a. Ditmore.  He is survived by his father, Mr. Jake Ditmore, of Hiawassee, GA; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David and Audrey Bradshaw, of Hiawassee, GA; Mrs. Jackie Burrell, of Hiawassee, GA; great grandparents, Mrs. Christine Brown, and Mrs. Linda Aten, both of Hiawassee, GA.

Funeral services were held on April 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Mt. Pleasant Church of God with Rev. Glen Eller and Rev. mr. billy james beck

 

Mr. Billy James Beck, age 43 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005 in Atlanta Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born to Ray and Icy (Gibson) Beck in Towns County, GA on April 13, 1962.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. George Ray Beck.  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Icy Beck, of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Mr. Lonnie Beck, of Clayton, GA; brother, Mr. Donald Beck, of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Mrs. Vivian Stargel, of Dalton, GA; sister, Mrs. Sharon Ferrell, of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Debbie Beck, and Mrs. Dinah Hopkins, both of Hiawassee, GA.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Duane Beck officiating.  Music was provided by Mr. Steve Youngblood.  Pallbearers were Randy Wood, Johnathan Beck, Barron Stargel, Brandon Stargel, Jerry Youngblood, and Keith Moss.  Honorary pallbearer was Pierce Fields.

Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
