Mrs. Ruth
S. Smith, ag 81, of Hiawassee, GA, passé away at her home on Sunday
June 25,
2006 following an extended illness. She
was born on
Mrs.
Smith retired in 1985 following a career as a Junior High School
teacher and a
legal assistant. She volunteered her
time generously over the years to many organizations.
She is
survived by two daughters and their husbands, Lyn and Rob Cole of
She will
be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister,
grandmother, and
great-grandmother. She will be greatly
missed by her family and friends. She
was an extraordinary and kind person who touched many lives.
Her
family joins Mrs. Smith in her request that in lieu of flowers,
expressions of
sympathy and condolences be made to Regency Hospice of North GA,
Banister
Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
